About Us

Balloon Depot

Flying since 1978, we’ve shared our passion for ballooning across the scenic Puget Sound region. With nearly 40 years of accident-free experience, each flight offers a smooth and exciting ride. Our large, high-sided gondolas carry 8 to 11 guests comfortably, giving open views of valleys, fields, ponds, and tree lines. Guests join in the setup before lifting off during calm air near sunrise or sunset. Launch spots shift with the wind to allow the safest flight and landing. No two journeys are alike—every flight follows a unique path across the sky.

Rise With the Wind, Fly With Wonder.

Our fleet includes four beautiful hot air balloons, all built by Cameron Balloons US from Dexter, MI—part of Cameron Balloons UK in Bristol. 2nd Sun and Olympic are the workhorses, holding 6 and 8 passengers in baskets beneath balloons sized at 180,000 and 210,000 cubic feet. Autumn Sun, a small 77,000 cubic foot balloon, is made for quiet, private flights for two guests and a pilot. Solstice, our largest at 225,000 cubic feet, carries up to twelve passengers with extra room to relax. These flights offer quiet skies, wide views, and memories that last. Perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or reunions—there’s no better way to mark a special day than floating together above the world below.
